Anybody know the correct blend modes, and render settings to bake a couple of painted bump maps into a single normal map? Also I've noticed that you can't bake out a bump map from, is this a known bug? I couldn't find any official word on the Luxology website.
I've gotten a bit of spare time so I wanted to try and attempt the Borderlands art style. I'm looking for feedback on improving the art style. Do I need to vary up the lines with thicker ones? Are the lines not strong enough? Cheers!
Honestly I have no idea. (for you UDK people out there yes I uploaded it correct in udk (-1,-1,-1,0/1,1,1,1 uploaded as a NM map) SRGB is off as well. And I flipped the G channel Any help would be wonderful and a life saver. Thanks every one!
My contract with a university is coming to a close and I'm looking for work either through contract or full time. I work with Substance Designer for tiling and procedural materials, I work with Substance Painter as well. I use 3DS Max for modeling purposes. www.aseart.net
For the prop I'm working on now, I wanted to render in Unreal, and also get some of the graphical elements animating. I wanted to make the two screens on this handheld animate.
