hmm my system is pretty old, but I've never had this issue before. The error disappears if I minimize and maximize the window. Though it's often enough to be a little annoying. Only glitching out with Directx. Not with a software or opengl driver. I prefer Directx for the viewport speed. Any ideas?
http://www.dialoguer.info/free.php It's apparently a tool for making dialogue trees within Unity. They're giving it out for free for the next few days. Sounds like it'll be pretty damn useful, as the dialogue system I'm working with at the moment is really cumbersome.
You need a connected drive using a Samba ( and DAV ).... too many protection by OS and AntiVirus. So, Some NAS do that ... or you need to have a computer as Local Storage. The sharing system by OS is subject to many issue!... on is the LOCK
Hi guys. I've started writing my procedural node-based game engine. Yesterday I've finished first demo for my dynamic lighting system. Hope You find it interesting. Any feedback would be appreciated! Youtube demo: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7wXb2qDPRzw
Could you post your systeme specs please. I crash maybe once a week and i use maya 8h a day. There are two things that make maya crashhappy and thats weak hardware and stone old prefs.
And use the terrain system in the engine, instead of a static mesh? Won't that be less efficient? I mean, it has to tesselate the heightmap and apply the materials based on the splatmap, wouldn't it be better to just have a static mesh and a baked material already?
Thanks for the remind, I always am careful about that. Yup! I manipulated the system and file units in 3DS Max and changed them to CM, MM and swapped between those units several times. Maybe that caused the problem.
I listened to the first episode and had to stop after that - it's a story well-told, but I just feel this incredible wave of despair at how incredibly broken the American criminal justice system is, and the attendant helplessness to do anything about it.
You could use vertex painting to do that, but I wouldn't recommend using the terrain system anyway...you'll have more control over the geo and texturing if you just make it yourself in your 3d package of choice.
In this second part of the artificial intelligence we use the Nav Mesh system that comes with Unity. The NPC will choose between staying idle or moving around, and he can attack us. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S4-Nx5cnhy0
