Here's a quick blocking of what I want to do for my final presentation: https://vimeo.com/50802046 The ''reload'' looks terrible because I rigged it wrong and I can't move the left arm forward. Eh, it gets my point across, which is what I wanted. x)
Yep happens to me alot, when max has been idle for a while the vertex ticks just suddenly dissappear, resetting or reloading the file will not work, you have to close and reopen the application to get them back. //btw I'm using 3ds max 9 with service pack 2
I tried reloading the newest file you uploaded, but it resulted in the same outcome. It has to do with setting a hot key to the "Iterate Save" button. For some reason the script doesn't remember everything before that. That'd be great if you could PM me another solution we might try.
Question for people, Once you do load an item and launch a test map, is there no way to exit that map? Must I reload Dota for every iteration of testing? Is there a win game console command I cant find somewhere? Or is it just the leave match button I cant find. The other client you could just abandon the match.
..mhh . If I link only one object to a hand it works. Now the order looks like this: right hand -> (linked to) gun_body magazine -> gun_body left hand -> magazine One problem still occurs when I want to attach the magazine to the body again (after reloading). The magazine rotates and moves slower as the rest of the gun.…
It still remains as the black silhouette when i put a default shader. Messed around in the scene controls once you told me about the ao and shadows though, I unchecked enable exposure control in viewport and I could see my maps again! I reloaded my norm map though and it looks normal...no pun intended
I get it in flash and with PS, though usually if I've forgotten to plug the tablet in (it has to fight for a cable between a card reader and an external HD ) while the app is loading, as long as it's plugged in (and like mentioned ) just sit for a few seconds for the program to load, there's usually no issue. Annoying that…
Viewport rotation is pretty bad, first off its backwards, and then rotating up and down dosent really work, it only lets you do it to a slight angle which is pretty annoying. Otherwise seems to work, you should have some basic things in there like spec value, and spec sharpness. Also reload and unload texture buttons.
Hmm, I've decided to reload the prior version because it may be a disappearing object or something I did. Here is a screen capture of what it looks like when selected in the outliner. It also chopped the top off the reference. Formerly, the polygon was a skull shape. I was cleaning up the geometry for the nose cavity.
I seemed to fix it. I created a primitive in zbrush and was able to edit that. I then switched back to my zTool and was able to edit it again. It gave a display bug of the mesh I was sculpting to bubble out but upon release it looked correct. I saved the zTool and reloaded and now its all good.
