Hey everyone! Here's another update. Feel like I need am actual animator to stress test the rig. haha Rigging is pretty much done besides the jacket. Just have to deal with skin weight issues on the clothing and add some corrective blendshapes. Look dev soon!
Thanks everyone :) He's currently at 7.3k. I still need to fix stuff, add deformation loops, and clean it up. Also bit unsure about topology in general but I guess I'll get a better understanding once I try to rig him. (very green at rigging :poly122:)
I think that you can load a JA rigged model in JK2. The JA rig has all the JK2 bones and tags. The main different is an extra bone and tag for dual lightsaber support. You're right almighty_gir that heirarchy problems would have gotten detected during the compiling with Assimilate.
Zbrush has tools for posing, otherwise it'll need to be a rig and skinning job. The key word is 'beauty' - ie, you're trying to show off your model in its best light, so if I were you I'd take the time to set up a rig and position your character.
Had a lot of fun working on this! This is a fanart of Trevor Belmont from Netflix's Castlevania. I always wanted to reimagine him as a handpainted game model so here it is. C+C welcome here especially since it's my first male character and action pose rig ^^; Artstation Post Link Character Rig is available for Free on my…
Hello everyone! I'm new to Polycount. I'm currently an Animation/Illustration at SJSU. I decided to start posting more of my work so I can get feedback from you all. Thanks for looking! First off, I just completed a handpainted low poly Bighorn Sheep. I started a simple rig, but I'd like to complete a full rig for it soon.
Learned a lot on this one, rigging, importing characters, blueprints, interacting with doors - Also Made a regular - survival horror dude to go along with it The render of the man is in marmoset though - I can't figure out a good way to get the skin shader goin inside unreal 4 - non the less - he's rigged up and got a walk…
this is for anyone who has lightray and would offer the service of rigging and exporting my bear for me. i do not own lightray and cannot export, and rigging... i have no clue. the file i gotta email ya, i only have angelfire, and they hate remote accessing. i would really appreciate this, i've waited soo long to see him…
Gun's looking pretty cool so far. I'm going to try and crit your environment though because as of right now I think personally it's not looking nearly as good as it could. I like your modeling and your texturing is pretty good but the scene itself is just okay. Even though you said you're tabling this piece for now I…
I'm not 100% sure I know what you're asking (sorry, I'm guessing it's a terminology difference) - you're concerned that filling in the gaps with the polygons necessary to texture / prevent backface culling are going to add too much to your tricount, right? I hope so, 'cause that's what my paintover is for. It looks like…
