Thanks @JLeeD ! Seams like I misinterpreted one of my references, Fixed that sternocleidomastoido. I started to match the concept already, the neck is a lot thinner now. The eyebrows are even more raised and in total she looks more weird now (especially without teeth), but close to the concept... Camera matches concept
It's good to show you can follow a concept, that's what art tests test, and what companies are looking for. But you do want your work to stand out, so pick an interesting concept that hasn't been done before. If you can mix multiple concepts and reference well, go ahead, but be careful.
your overall blockout is too large. Scale it back to get the mood of the concept. I'd like to second Pixelz comment, and agree that you need to get your tiling correct to match the concept as well. Lastly, I'd like to know where you found this concept. I know the girl who created it.
Most of the time the concept artist will have a good grasp on what will cause problems and what won't. Besides the concept artists experience, there normally is another layer of protection. I think his legs were a bit more balanced out in the concept, where you had them fatter. I also agree that the eyes could use a little more to them (like the concept had). I'm also not sure if it was on purpose, but he lost a toe on each foot from the concept
