Can't answer all, but here I go... 1. TGA's are uncompressed, which is good. But they're huge, which is bad. PNG's are available as uncompressed (I believe?), but Photoshop handles them very poorly, so they're frowned upon. I use them and I hate it. But the size is nice. 2.
