Redesigned my site last week and needed a logo so i created this guy.. Trying to get back into art... at 33, and getting ready to back to school full time for a graphic arts degree.. kinda scary.. any crits, advice, etc greatly appreciated!! Thanks!!
I don't want to be harsh but the main page looks ugly and most of the stuff doesn't look as good as it does when its opened up large. And the white to black gradient should be changed to 33% black to 66% black
First and only gun i made, Tokarev TT 33 started 2 years ago, just for training and fun coz that's not really the kind of thing i do at job. Bit of pinching, and innacuracy. I'm going to redo it :)
33 4 years in the industry as an artist/animator. 9 if you count the 5 in Tech Support and QA at Cave Dog/Humongous/GT/Infogrames/Atari (yea 1 company, 5 names in 5 years. What a ride that was).

Note - I got the triangle count wrong for my character. It is actually 33 174 triangles. That's what I get for rushing to submit this, haha. Edit: Here are additional texture sheet shots, not part of my official submission:
the bar at the bottom does not move... it always says the same thing: "Best Solution has 33 % wasted area, found after 1 tries and 1s 563ms. courrent solution 1, run time 1 s 563ms"
I took 33 pictures in a circle of a replica of King Tut's headpiece, processed them with 123D Catch, and then tried to refine them in Zbrush and Modo. But I can't export the UV texture from Modo to Zbrush. Any help? :|
Hey, nice work here. I thought I'd mention, since the Glock 18 can shoot fully automatic I typically think of it using a 33 rnd magazine. Otherwise you'd run through ammo super quick.
Part 2 On Youtube goes only 33:46, and in the Vimeo version the video stops around the same time and you get sound for awhile "Okay back in UDK" etc... Great stuff though, not enough VFX stuff around.
