I'm looking for a script, plugin, tool... anything that would allow me to select some edges in the UV editor and transfer the selection to edit poly. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi, I used - sizeable flag in the script and it is working fine but it's also collapsing my whole window when I use frame layout. See the screenshot for more info.
how can I export a list of my characters bones under the skmin modfiier. I just want to write out the bone names to a txt file. I bet there is a script that does this:)
i'm working on a project and really just need to know yes or no. is it reasonably possible to have max script look at an object and have it create a xml text file with the locations of the vertices of the object.?
HeadUvsLayout has a really handy tool to show the edge bleeding (pixel based) for each uv shell. Do you know any script to have this in Maya. Thanks in advanced. :)
Thanks again @carvuliero I've ended up to put this command also into userSetup.mel (\My Documents\maya\2022\scripts) to get it by default at Maya startup.
Maybe an alternative route... bake lighting into vertex color. This would avoid bleeding, but would increase vertex count on lighting seams. Or perhaps check out https://www.scriptspot.com/3ds-max/scripts/polyunwrapper I know the developer is very responsive to requests/feedback.
