generic maxscript question.

i'm working on a project and really just need to know yes or no. is it reasonably possible to have max script look at an object and have it create a xml text file with the locations of the vertices of the object.?

for a slightly longer answer - tech-artists.org has an xml/.net library in it's code repository doodad that saves a lot of typing.
