A woman will keep you from ever having enough money to afford either... put that on hold :P Save up some dough, and then look for a local auto auction. Get a decent car, cheap. Then get a computer. You already have that, even if it IS too damn old. If you lived near me, I could probably give you an upgrade for free ;)…
I used to live for art at one point, spending around 15 hrs a day just practising, but after a few years, (maybe 15) you get to the point where you want to have a bit of fun in your life too. I work part time now self employed and would never consider going back in to a studio unless it was a short contract I am still petty…
This a pretty nice character! However it doesn't feel like Overwatch for a few reasons I think: * Some materials have a little too much edge wear, really apparent on her shirt/jacket * The technology reads kinda old and steampunk, which might work for some skins but Overwatch has a very clear future vibe to it's tech. *…
I like the workbench style a lot, neat work. The way you've bent the wooden handles feels unnatural though, like they're melting rather than been bent by growth or by use. Maybe take a look at old scythe handles for inspiration? I like the knot/nub on the sledgehammer handle, would like to see this repeated on the others,…
overall your stock looks cool. Comments: - Prometeus uses too simple textures. It is good that u can do rather neat texture type variation in a large environment but textures themselves look too simple. Lack of color variation, dirt (subtle even if it is a "clean" place), details etc. - old house has same issue - textures…
Dont be a tard, it limits posiblities and thats the point of the whole arguement. Noone is here saying that 360 and ps3 are coming out with completely unique groundbreaking games because they have all this power, i mean c'mon seriously thats only a very small part of the market in reality. Most developers are too scared to…
yeah for the guns in the gun holsters im going to use old school revolvers and hes going to be holding a cowboy musket rifle instead of a elefant hunting gun like in the 1st one, but i only drew him that way this time because it can fit alot of detail, but i will look out for the gun holster scaling iun the final bacuase…
I like 2 the most, then 4 second . 4 looks fine and interesting too but 2 feels more elegant to me. I don't really like 1 and 3. IMHO the bows will look better if you stretch it vertically a bit, like the 2nd bow in your old concept. That bow looks slim vertically, and I think that makes the bow looks more refined…
hey tex, lookin good so far but i think that axe, mace... mace? XD could use more love, i think right now it looks a bit too... perfect although theres scratches and etc... the over all silhouette is too clean, the edges are still all super nice and straight, so i think bangin it up and make it look as if it... well…
Thanks for the critique. After playing around with the face a bit, I can see what Meloncov means about the face looking a little too old. I believe that have something to do with the overall sharpness, so I tried to soften the features and make the eyes a little less pointy. Fixing the lighting has been some real trouble.…
