Hey, is there any website or place to find/download character reference images? (3 sides with arms open)? to practice 3d modelling? I can draw myself... but right now I want to practice 3d modelling with as many characters as possible. Thanks.
I have this weird problem where maya keeps copying all the images associated with my hypershade to any new folder I make in the project folder. I really don't want to have to wipe my setting or re-install. Anyone ever had this happen before or know how to fix it?
Hi all ! I'm making some new stuff for my real-time portfolio and I had the idea to realize "dioramas" (like Warhammer Golden Daemon scenes, ...) to constrain my work in a precise space and give it a pretty cool look :) There are some WIP images, followed by the final result. 01: The Plint and early test of normal mapping,…
Hi, a bit offtopic but not so far. Every week i get alot polycount subscription mails with imagelinks (but only the plain link, without <a href... What i would love to have, that Thunderbird converts these plain links to images - means: just shows them directly in my mail. Has anyone the same "wish" and maybe a solution?…
Last weekend I made this. https://nimp.app/ It's like substance designer but in a browser. I'm wondering if people would find it useful and if I should keep working on it. It will never do all the things substance designer can do but might work well for quickly making simple graphs. I've only had time to add a few nodes so…

During my last visit at the Washington D.C. National Arboretum (best kept secret in town), i took a bunch of pictures of some of their Bonsai trees. I thought some people might like to use them for reference. I was going to take more pics but the park was about to close so I just got some quick snaps before I was kicked…
Current Project: a futuristic Gunship used by the German Luftwaffe...about 6k faces, 2k textures... I would really love to hear some input to take it a step further...especially the texture (which needs at least 3 steps to become good...), but crits regarding the model are welcome, too...anyway...images... Wires: Realtime…
Most important features: - Easily show contents of multiple nested folders at once (flatten folder structure) - Support for all important file types, 32 Bit images. I used Picasa: Some files not supported like 32bit, Works better because you can select expand all for folders. I used ACDSee: Most supported file types, but…
I use the snapshot folder and my images are stored in .exr format but I would rather them to be .png or something similar. I can store them manually with save as, but that would be tedious. And the worst part is that the .exr format comes with linear color management which I don't like for quick previewing my snapshots.
