yeah Verm thats absolutely it. Not only is the game so awesome that these moments of sloppiness tend to stand out, but for most of us here, 3D Art is either our trade, or study, or hobby, or some or all of the above. So its in our very nature to look for this stuff. -

I've kept a website for the past 12 years, just for fun. It's my hobby. I don't feel like it hurts me or helps me. In the end, it only matters what your work looks like and that the person looking at it can see it easily. *shrug* -

I enjoy doing it as a hobby and thus im eternally motivated Work a physically demanding low paying dead end job and imagine how nice it would be to make game art for a living. You'll be more motivated to model than you would eat. -

sure, i know that it's based on a book. still it (the trailer!) looks like a lotr ripoff but with talking animals and goofy looking kids. the first seconds actually remind of harry potter as well. double rip off? calm down bill, get yourself a hobby. -

Notice it was the crazy that WAS NOT "addicted" to the playstation that did the stabbing, interesting. I guess it goes to show that normal crazies stab, while video game junkies pick up guns and go on sprees. What if she had taken up puzzles as a hobby... oh the horror. -

Well, since it is only a hobby, there is no need to do "Anything" in particular. If you wish to keep up with technology, then yes, I would add more polygons. But if you just want to make good looking art, on your own terms, then there would be no need to. Just keep on practicing.
