Hey, I have 3ds max 2011 and I gave the whole 3ds max folder admin rights and stuff and I tried dragging the 3 point shader into view port and nothing happens. I tried dragging it onto max and it gave an error. I have windows 7. Can someone please help?
As thread title, max is baking my normalmaps in greyscale in the same fashion as a lightingmap, despite clearly having normalsmap checked in the RTT options. Any help would be much appreciated. Having some problems installing the plugin on 4.19. Tried on 2 different machines, and keep getting an error that says "Please Close Unreal Engine before installing the plugin". But Unreal Engine is NOT running. The Launcher is Not Running. Can I just download and install the plugin from github like every other plugin?
I'm probably missing something extremely simple... but I'm trying to animate Uv's in maya 2010. I select the UV's. I hit S. I get this error. // Warning: Active objects have no keyable attributes, or animation layers are present and the BaseAnimation bar is not selected or locked. Am I retarded? What's going on here?
Hi guys Is it possible to import fbx's that contain a bunch of objects? I have an office scene with about 30 objects in total. I've been using unity lately and you can just import the whole lot without any errors. Is it the same for UDK?? Thanks in advance for any help. Cheers
My dam windows media player upgrade to ver 10. witch was more of a downgrade. because every time i try to burn a CD i get an error message saying basicly there no problem but weve found a way to make one Err:C00D11CD. anyone kno how to fix it? thnx.

Oh that helps so much, didn't realize I had to exaggerate the high poly even more, interesting! I am confused about unwrapping on the hard edges though, does that just make it so less errors occur when baking or is it something else?
