I've just uploaded the v0.2.1 with path tracing support ( diffuse, reflective, refractive, fresnel, mesh lights ) and other enhacements. Btw, the new FW 257.21 seems to be broken. Better stay with the 197.XX. thx.
I think you are making the exact same mistake I was making with the texture :) Putting way to much info into the diffuse, that should really go in the specular. other than that, the model looks great, really like it :)
it is working...removed the diffuse and rendered, the normal is just very faint for some reason even though the intensity of it is quite high, i turned up the additional bump value in the normal bump and now its fine.
Well, I don't think it's bloom or hdr. It looks more like ambient occlusion or a radiosity bake. There's no color, just diffuse shading. The engine looks really impressive though. Can't wait to see more of it.
Above character basemesh modeled in Maya and further refined via digital sculpting + polypainting + fibermesh (for hairs) in Zbrush. Texture map details: 4K Diffuse and Normal map 2K Specular map For final renders I used Maya Hardware 2.0 (Directx11)
Hey guys, when i render w/ maya software my normals and spec show up, however when i use mental ray, only the diffuse shows through. all maps are targas w/ solid alphas. Any suggestions?
