So, did you try the "Reconstruct Subdiv" button in Zbrush? Sometimes it will work, even if you have deleted all the lower division levels. Worth a shot, and should maintain flow, if it works. It's right there with all the other division-related things. Right near "Divide"
Yeah the proportions are off. Everything from the belly button down looks not toned. The neck also lends to the overweight look as there are no lines of definition. The Overwatch style is characterized in part by harder angles than reality and to that effect I only see that in your collar bone and ribs.
Reset Xform, then re-export? Resolution is controlled in your video card setup, somewhere in Max's Preferences (sorry don't have Max here now). There's an option in the DirectX dialog named something like "Nearest Resolution" next to radio buttons for 256, 512, etc.
Skin or die is moving towards what I think the interface needs... I would love a springclean of the skin gui personally. I mean, how many times do you have to click the wrong remove button when trying to knock out an envelope.
Sorry tulk, I got distracted and didn't have time to type detailed crits, but I agree entirely with Jackablade. I liked the zombie presence, but it felt a bit slow paced. My main question, though, is there a jump button? Because if there is I've totally missed it.
Question for ya! How do i get my freshly exported object to show up in the brush list without a restart? [EDIT]And ten seconds later i find the amazing "reload button" :P Can't see anything i import into the engine though :(
Yeah everything else is default, that list is under the "Maps" rollout, look for that and expand it, should be there (Im using Max 9 if that makes any difference :S) And to get to the third option set just click the button next to the opacity check box / numerical input box.
Which software you used for your kick-ass artwork doesn't matter to the pros, it just matters that your work kicks ass. Artistic talent is what we hire, not button-ology. If Blender does the job, then stick with it and pound out a jaw-dropping portfolio.
Try disabling the option to load history when opening projects. Only save history when it is something you need. Try selecting a subtool and click the make poly mesh 3d button to make a clean clone with no history. Try exporting that as both a tool and obj.
thats awesome. i'm a big fan of dramatic games with a strong storyline and i enjoyed fahrenheit too even if the button mashing was a bit annoying in places. the face looks really cool. the quality reminds me of alan wake i'll definitely buy both games.
