Hi polycount! Now I’m creating an outdoor scene in UE4 This is what I’ve made for now. My next step will be creating of lights to make a night light model. I have a problem whith antialiasing For now I have to solve this issue by creating a model whith alpha textures or looking for another antialiasing algorithm. CCW!
If you're using the old Marmoset, you need to: 1. Place the opacity map (Black is transparent, white is opaque) in the alpha channel of your diffuse texture and save it as a 32bit TGA. 2. Change the Blend Mode of the material to something other than "None", most likely "Alpha" will work best. 3. Uncheck "alpha testing" in…
I started to concept this project some time ago and now I´m going to focus on it a bit more. The goal is to create a large moon surface with different modular buildings (interiors too). I created a huge landscape and tweaked lighting to match something that might be on moon. I also made few modular building pieces and…
I'm having some trouble with the normals on my wall. The one on the right shades correctly, but when I rotate the object 180 degrees, the shading is reversed. Anyone know how to correct this? FYI, normals baked in Xnormal, rendered in UDK.
Okay guys, here's what's going down ! Im working on a game that uses a vertex shader to produce a fisheye effect for the level geometry which is constructed out of blocks. (See video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iImBtvXtXrk&list=UUfDV5xinF2VjLd8LSAAfgCg However since I wanted to speed up my workflow a bit , I went…
I had to ask because I'm sure there are more Family Guy fans. Who picked up this movie? I'll be getting it after work hopefully. (Yes, I realize it's only 12pm but I'm sure someone bought it by now :P)
About: This is a collection of intuitive, context sensitive tools to improve productivity that I did to improve my workflow as I transitioned into Blender. They are designed to be used as hotkeys, removing the amount of interaction with the menus and allowing for a less interrupted modeling experience. This is the first…
Hello ladies and gents! I'm a mostly self taught 2D and 3D character artist and I have a burning sensation....to get better. ( the dots made you think something else didn't they harrharr!) I'm fairly new to the forum so if I should make any mistakes be sure to point them out.
functionality that more resembles a popup pie menu would be neat. what I mean is. 1. hold button 2. pie menu pops up with the center where your pointer is right now 3. slide your pointer over to the desired option pie slice 4. release button and the option gets picked this makes for a one button press and flick flow which…
yep, there are several. Check on "edge constraint" or "Poly constraint" in edit poly and you can slide them around no probs. 2: Align an object to the surface (align a box using align normals see the help file to find this). Then from the coordinate system click "pick" and pick the object. Now you can use that objects…
