I've been working on this since earlier today, and I'm starting to get discouraged. All my head sculpts are turning out like shit on a shingle, so I figured I'd look for some help here. Is there anything wrong with his proportions or anatomy? Too lumpy? Have any tips or advice? Any help is much appreciated. Thanks guys.
Here's my progress for today. Blocked out a female head with some hair cards. My goal is to make some great hair and skin maps. Currently using Jon Troy Nickel awesome matcap. I'm going to get some more variation in the hair cards and tweak the face next.

A shot from the side of the head may explain the problem with the neck better(if there's any) I guess. And I think ears look like buried into the head though it may be because of what pogonip said(jaw bone).
