Sorry to bump this thread again (double post), but did anyone got a working argument for custom output directories. I tried many times with various settings but nothing seems to work. The window opens but points to the default output folder. Example: @exportFBX.py D:/UnrealEditor\Imported\Meshes
VXGI settings by default wouldn't produce anything comparable with lightmass. Read their included PDF file in the installation folder there are some settings you can change/tweak. You can also enable VXAO that produces really nice large scale AO at the cost of dropping light bounces.
I use the snapshot folder and my images are stored in .exr format but I would rather them to be .png or something similar. I can store them manually with save as, but that would be tedious. And the worst part is that the .exr format comes with linear color management which I don't like for quick previewing my snapshots.

for Unreal editor this is for. I have tired to put the ActorX into the plugin folder in max and when I go to the unities list its not there. I have done the windows thing that it told me to do but I still have no luck its just not appearing. I am running 3D max 2008 64 can any one help Ash

Much like Maya/Max, is there any way I can create my own splash screen image, put it somewhere and thus replace the original one? I love giving apps in my PC some personal looks. Tried putting a new splash.bmp in the root folder, but nothing changed. If this is possible, what's the place and dimension of the image needed?
