downloaded RoboBlitz and loaded the modified editor and everything that you can do in UE3 you can do in this editor Only downside is that i cannot play a simple BSP level without the editor freezing. Not sure if anyone else gets this problem. Its definately worth the 14.99 for the editor, if you want to get a jump start on…
renderbump just casts rays from the lowpoly mesh to a maximum range defined by the trace fraction. "-trace 0.1" means that it will cast rays to 10% of the size of the object. So if you have a box which is 64 units in all axes then it will cast rays out to 6.4 units from the lowpoly surface. It doesn't use a "cage" at all.
looks much better. you've got the three loops going down his torso almost perfectly parallel, try grabbing the two 'nipple-verts' and the two at the farthest protruding part of his belly, and moving them left/right, to the outside. should help with the flow, and make those verts really define the shapes you're going for.
Yeah, great work dude this just keeps getting better. I think you really should look at making an official release. There are more than enough features to make this usefull to buy already and any further updates could be free to paid owners. You definately need to start reaping some reward for your work.
Definately a nice start, you got everything smoothe and clean, though i think some of the details could use an extra edge loop to really make them more metal like and hardedged (first thing to come in mind is the end of the barrel and that area in general). Looks great overall, cant wait to see it in completed!
I'd like it if it wasn't a phone. Why can't they release an ipod with all the accelometer, dual touch, etc? I dunno it will do really well but I definately won't be buying one. I can't even work all the crap on my current phone. I just learned about text messenging a few months ago.
He needs to use his whole body in the motion to get maximum strength behind that punch. Try throwing a punch in front of a mirror yourself. The body definately needs to twist more. Check out some referenses. I bet you can find some on youtube or whatever. EDIT. Check this one out. Punch on youtube
It seemed like 100% pre-rendered. However the models can be close to what they look like in-game and all those particle effects and blurring and stuff could have been done by a post production method. But why bother when it can be pre-defined in the renderering process? So that's why I think it is 100 % pre-rendered.
I was just introduced to Darko on an unrelatied note to this thread.. but it was a nice coincidence. So I just watched it today.... yeah. The movie is definately tight. I got that same vibe from Requiem for a dream. I was always asking myself... is this real? or jsut in his head or what. It had an excellent cast of…
Why do you need to re-do the pelting completely? Seems to me you just need to do a little Relaxing if you add/remove a few faces and get therefore mess up the texcoords a little. You only need to define the pelt seams if you're going to re-pelt it from scratch each time.
