Look at the stats of the mobile market and how it effects PC, ignoring it is a pretty bad idea. Focusing on Windows tablets and phones is a bit silly - iOS is where the money is.

Some of my friends are working on a IOS game - Fodderp, I'm helping out by concepting and modeling character for the project! Here is the first 5 units, I might post more of future concepts later on.
Transparency needs to be used carefully. The bottleneck on those high res mobile screens is usually the fillrate. 8-bit alpha is actually cheaper than alphatest on iOS afaik.
SanderDL: The 8mb file was a .apk for android. Osman: Are we talking about the desktop browser version webbuilds? Or is there an option to export some sort of webbuild for ios/android as well?
Looking forward to the gameplay video, then :) I'm backing anyway (looking forward to checking out the soundtrack :p ), in the hopes that you manage to hit your Android stretch target (non-iOS user here).
