....as long as you add a 'Tassie' (Tasmanian) devil sometime down the track when beginning to populate this level with chars, I mean at least a salutary nod too LTs 40s & 50s TV anim vintage - then I'm all good wid dat B) Also no worries about copyright infringement shite either cos one can't patent intelligent design… -

nah its not cheating, lots of older disney movies were animated this way. the key is to remember that even though anyone can trace a frame by frame recording, it takes an understanding of timing, weight and posing to bring out the life in those frames -

Hmmm.... Walt Disney just released their Ptex API ( http://ptex.us/overview.html )... perhaps I should add support for it in the 3.17.0... It could be useful to get a super-detailed HP-baked base texture or to add micro-detail to the highpoly model. -

holy shit this looks amazing! Subbed! love the look of that soldier, and the father looks like he is plucked right out of a Disney movie, the only crit I have is Lily herself might look a bit unpolished compared to the rest. -

Ok I went with the second one. Hope I chose right. Here is a status update. Still unsure with pushing it this "Disney" CG direction if I'm making it too detailed. Especially with the odd proportions of the cartoon. (The Hair is a stand in fwiw)
