It is continuously higher to own a thought of what you would like to make and begin operating in 3D. No sketching or coming up with on paper or photoshop. attempt to not explore references on net . you would like to create things up to ascertain wherever it takes you. generally the ultimate result's fully totally different…
I whipped up this model a few days ago as i was bored, decided to put it in tf2 as my boredom was continued. I'm looking for feedback so feel free to comment :) not really a very "TF2" item but still having fun working on it (vid of in game below) [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZCpaTl2sFJk[/ame] so yeh criticism is…
Hi! My first impression on your portfolio reel is that all of your models and environments are extremely simple as far as modelling, texturing, and lighting/presentation. Imo its perfectly fine to spend more time on a personal project if that means that you are making it better, adding more elements (like props) , or just…
I've continued to work a bit on this environment, changing up the composition and shape block out a bit to experiment with what I have. I also made a first pass of a church ruin arch. So far I'm liking the idea of having some large blocky stone/rock monolith things that direct towards the big tree. I feel like it would add…
Imo if you want to get some decent money for your time the 3d industry is not the best place. So if this is your primary concern I would at least check out other areas. You earn the most money in areas where the most money is made. If you want to continue the artist road it totally depends on your location and the size and…

I'm currently studying to be a game artist and so far I'm enjoying the journey and hope to continue my growth. One of my professors recommended Polycount as a great place to show my work, so here I am Any feedback is greatly…

Yes, good music. The problem is that I have to find music, which is paid or have a Creative Commons license because I'm planning to submit this environment to UE4 Marketplace (it allows me to continue my work on the next projects). Maybe I'm wrong, but there might be copyright issues later if I'll use your music.
People have begun returning their games, based on the lies about BF3 control layout support: http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf4/forum/threadview/2955065217449592766/ I'm curious if someone at DICE could shed some light on this, and why there is a flat out refusal to appease BF3 players, who wanted continue to support the…
I'm with @Dethling regarding those materials; they look fantastic. The pleather-ish look and synthetic rubber feel at her midsection are reading really well, and have some great material separation. I'm liking your attention to the details on the under arm straps, too. Looking forward to seeing how she continues to improve!
