Do you have a reference for this? I assume the lower border is supposed to curve, like some kind of "poncho" like wrapper? Generally, I would avoid having a regular pattern in that area if possible. Just think about how you would have to go about printing/planning this in real life, where my guess is that this would…
Hello there! I'm really trying to get good enough to go freelance with environment and props and i'd love to do it in the hand painted style. With that in mind, i'm going to try and paint this house (model based on original concept by Arthur Gimaldinov) using tileable and unique textures. Please, PLEASE help if you can and…
Hello! I paint garage kits of anime-style characters and lately I got the idea of trying to make my own. Thing is, I am terrible at 3D modelling so I thought about commissioning someone who knows what they're doing. Requirements: Must be familiar with sculpting anime-style characters, especially women, as well as furniture…
Im having a problem with object paint. Im making some leaves and such, but when i paint them on a branch, they are allways a bit offset. Alot of them are still floating and not attached correctly into the branch. Pivot points are at the bottom and where they should be.

But I must state first that I don't care about the model being displayed in fancy 3D; painting in Photoshop on a screenshot that get re-projected on the final model is my thing, plus even the fancy 3d based paiting apps need to do such an operation…

I spent most of yesterday refactoring my previous result, with a refocus on pushing PBR and trusting it over curating a certain look. I also dug an old reflector out of the garage and studied it,…
Hey all. I just gave the first 3 videos a second look and noticed something. During the second one (detail paint 01), when the guy starts painting, he first paints diffuse info (scaley leather bag style) that he picks from a texture he loads. Later on he turns on the bump, mich makes the material much more believable. BUT,…
i guess you could turn any 2d paint software into a somewhat viable 3d painter using the auto-import ability of marmoset toolbag? You can use photoshop or w/e you like to work on top of an image of the uv layout, quick export, and then on other screen its going to update immediately in marmoset. Its not so great if you…
