take some element of everyday life, and extrapolate it, sci-fi novel style, 5000 years in the future (or similar), to give the background world a darkly comic sense of ridicule (thinking 'Brazil' or '5th element')
I'm not new to Polycount, but I just realised I've not posted anything and hardly visited since July 2014. Hopefully I'll have some cool artwork to show off in the not too distant future! There's so much amazing work up on here, it's really inspiring.
Will update in the future The Idea is based around Disney's version of the beast but with more variety of creatures mixed in. I will as be trying for an almost shy and timid personality it should be interesting. Progress: Current Concept Art Current Model Will add the accessories last once if finish the whole body
Feel free to give me the PolyCount smack down in terms of anatomy and everything else thats wrong. here's the unfinished front view: It's mean to be a riot police looking guy FROM THE FUTURE who goes round microchipping people with needles.
Hello guys, yesterday i was thinking to make a portfolio... so here it is http://k21n.carbonmade.com/ I'm not looking for work at the moment. Just wanted to have a good looking portfolio for the future and make it look even better. Any advices ?
I would appreciate any feedback, regarding to my short film to be able to finish it in the future. Thank you. SHORT FILM: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ELvLtaevyrM BREAKDOWN: https://youtu.be/4sJ7KKx5ItU What is good about the project? What could be improved?
Unfortunately, light bakes are no longer available in Toolbag 4. This functionality was lost when the baker was refactored to work with the newer ray tracing backend. This is something we may be able to add back in the future, but further R&D is needed.
Got this one to a level I am happy with just need some hands coming soon, only really a bust but in the future I really want to make some full characters. Hope you enjoy feedback is most welcome!
@BradyJ Thanks for the suggestions! I see what you mean with how Amnesia Rebirth creates gateways of sorts with their rocks that funnels the player through it in the beginning. Definitely something I'll keep in mind for the future.
Probably not what is going on. Artstation is a very promising social platform combining not only the social media / portfolio aspect, but also having a solid foundation for a online marketplace solution. My bet is they will expand on that in the future.
