Little tired of asset making, did some test compositing. Adjusted lots of lighting and textures, not trying to force a color scheme any more. Going to tackle some futuristic tall buildings in the near future to add some vertical scale. No idea which direction this might take at the moment.
[ QUOTE ] Ok, now all we need is to add some predators and it is truly on! [/ QUOTE ] you know, i was just about to comment that they better leave out any predator-related stuff and just stick to the setting of the older movies. why did these two franchises have to be married anyway?
I am getting an error randomly when using dDo. It is something along the line of System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException (0x80042260): General Photoshop error occurred. This functionality may not be available in this version of Photoshop. I find that strange as I have the newest CC and I did CTRL-ALT-Shift delete of…

Anything will add to your millage in becoming better. If you have a certain thing you're passionate about go for that ! If not ,try, experiment, learn from others and tutorials, pretty much any artist I know did not start out making the exact same thing they are making now at all.
Thanks guys! I'm glad you like it. :) I'm adding some pics to the main post like you suggested. Limewax: I did use a highpoly for most of the detail but there is some normal work done in photoshop and substance painter. I'll add a pic of the highpoly and lowpoly later on today.
@Linko Nice, did you check them? I never used cgcookie, but looks like stylized hair tut for Blender is for free, what about the second one? Could you give some short fair comments about tuts, then I could add it also in the first post.
Thanks Gauss, he produced some great designs. This project really benefited from research. As per the comments I've added a layer of grunge to the textures of the interior. Here's a before/after. I still did not go too far with it but it's enough of a change to add more visual interest to the image.
