      I really don't know the term for this so I'll do my best to explain what I'm trying to do: Basically, I need to make that oval plane be a sort of x-ray vision, but only for 1 object, which is the one it deforms on.

      Make sure you use "reset x-form" before you start skinning the model. After that start skinning and select all bones and the model and use export selected, and select .fbx This should work fine.

      We do not give students admin privileges. What puzzles me is that we had an earlier version of 2.X that worked just fine with network licensing without using admin privileges. So what changed?

      Yeah I'm using 2012 HF4, but it's the OS X version and it wouldn't surprise me at all if that's the problem. It's gotta be an error on my end because I've just re-downloaded the project files and the same problem occurs.
