Sleep paralysis sounds awful. Dont think I've experience full on sleep paralysis but some similar incidents. But I often have these dreams where I'm usually somewhere in my basement and nasty things happen. My room is located in the basement along with a laundry room, spare room, and a bathroom. Things get really weird,…
This page is the one that first introduced me to the technique. I keep returning it once in a while to refresh my memory. 😌 For people randomly stumbling on this thread in the future, two related sections on alpha: http://wiki.polycount.com/wiki/Transparency_map#Sorting_Problems…
@*Sebastian Here's some topology routing solutions for slots that run across curved surfaces and need to resolve to quad geometry. Support loops and shapes that cross perpendicular to the edges of the underlying curve typically won't disrupt the segment spacing in a way that could cause residual triangles or undesired…
with Maya it's usually either the material or something getting disconnected / bent out of shape in the history and causing the link between a shape node and material to get borked. And i can't imagine how hard is to make a game that people will want and love to play. My only concern is funding. Software startups get funding from VC, usually it started by one…

[short version] Hi all, not sure if this is even possible, but is there a way to keep the Texture Coordinates from a Procedural material, yet have them apply to a model using a different Texture Coordinates method? Possibly via Mixing or Math? [long version] I have a Procedural material which was made on a Plane using UV…
