Looks good! Although just a quick note I think worth specifically keeping in mind, is that handgun slide & frame edge wear can also be generated by holsters through friction, rather than solely based off of metal-on-metal contact. For example, the Canik TP9 is manufactured with a Cerakote resin coat over Nitride anti…
Hello everyone. First time posting in this thread and hopefully won't be my last :) . I worked on this for a few hours today and hoping to get some critiques. Right now it is just a block out in stepped for now and hoping that by tomorrow I will be in auto curves and cleaning that up. I'm open to any and all constructive…
Nice, love the slide at the end. The cut to over the shoulder is a bit jarring. I think it's because she is favouring the right side of the screen at first and then when it cuts, she is on the left side. Other than that, great work!
Ah well yea biped... humm... well that explains the keys sliding forward and back together. Welcome to biped. They mean you can't move X away from Y and Z. You can slide XYZ all together past other keys. They also mean this will always be a restriction of biped don't expect it to ever change. What I do (besides curse biped…
the clip release button is right where you have the space for it in the grip, dont know why you didnt add it if you modeled the space for it o_O as for the "cart ejection claw" its on the other side and not something you really need to model in as its inset in the model and can just be textured on. You should also add the…
I'll set up some side by side stuff later on with the gem moved on top to compare. The way the mesh is made, there is no sliding of the armor or anything so it won't clip, if that's what you mean anyways. I'll give it a shot later. Thanks for the critique.
Hack method would be to have a non uniform scaling on the mesh then add the chamfer modifier. That will add a bias to the chamfers on the long side of your rectangle so the edge distances aren't equal on either side of the chamfer. Not a good solution because it would be faffy and not really greatly controllable or…
I'm trying to build a prototype for a 2d, side-scroller, action RPG and I need help figuring out the look of the main character. I'm going to need a simple, readable character - something between Megaman, Furi and Banner Saga in terms of complexity - as I'll be drawing this guy a frame a time for the duration of the…
I have entered the contest for 70 and 80's sci-fi themed skin. I will paint the M4A4 purple because purple is a subtle colour, this will make it a skin people may want but not an expensive red so people cant get it. I will base my skin on the film 'Ghost Busters'. My main idea is to have a hand drawn cartoon version of a…
To rotate the arm while keeping the hand pinned in space you need to set an IK key on the arm (e.g. "Key Info" rollout > set sliding key) and then select the forearm and rotate it around its local X axis (set the mode to Local in the dropdown box at the top of the UI next to the rotate tool button while the rotate tool is…
