I have entered the contest for 70 and 80's sci-fi themed skin. I will paint the M4A4 purple because purple is a subtle colour, this will make it a skin people may want but not an expensive red so people cant get it. I will base my skin on the film 'Ghost Busters'. My main idea is to have a hand drawn cartoon version of a ghost from the film in green. The background will be purple along with other miscellaneous objects like smoke and other ghosts. My skin will be updated here.

This is a hand pencil drawing i did as an example guide line. I prefer to draw by hand as you can make precise lines without the worry of pixels.
I will import this into Photoshop so i can trace over it.
I drew out the graphics with a mouse and keyboard using my pencil drawing as a guide line. I then coloured the image with block colours becasue i wanted a simple cartoon look. I used 3 shades of colour however i still managed a realistic detailed image.
I next moved the current image onto the weapons net to see if the image will suit the contours of the M4A4. I am happy as it works well and all the main parts can be shown on a fairly flat surface. This was done only to see if i was making it the correct way. The final skin will not look like this completely.
I need a name for this, based on 'Ghost Busters' and need to be original, thanks. I have converted the .JPEG to a .VTF to see the weapon so far ingame. If i don't say myself, it is working nicely.
I understand about the green, i have made changes here. Have a look
I have added a colour stock grip because when inspecting i found out that the back end of the weapon look very bland. I dont want the stock to be the most interesting part so only this small section of colour was added.
Didn't want to damper your spirits but also wanted to tell you early so that you don't rush into being disqualified.
