I tried the low-poly rounded edges technique for the metal parts of the handles. I think it resulted in cleaner bake. Polycount is really high for a prop like this, 1200 tris. But, that's not my focus at the moment. -

ty, ingame model, for hl2 i geuss, its only 1288 polys so far, and seeing how hl2 handles 5000+ easily, ill prolly reach something like 4000-5000 -

on cgtalk there is mention that catalyst 8.1 drivers are working for ATI users. no good fer 4800 series tho? as 8.7 is the minimum driver supported? maybe werth a looksee fer users with older ATI cards -

I don't get why this scene is 4100 tris, also I feel like you have some technical errors in your low poly mesh, you might want to take a look at that. -

Hey, I never went higher than dual 1600*1200 21inch (maybe slightly wider at work) Whats your fav resolution and size guys ? What about the uber apple monitors ?
