Hello Polycount! This is a gun model I started a few months ago and then left because I had no time for personal projects. My goal for this piece is to improve my hard surface and texturing skills. After a few months i have started working on it again. After continuing this project after a long break I noticed some…

Hello everyone this is my first post here but I have been surfing these forums for a couple months here. I see a lot of really talented people and would like some thoughts on the work I started in Maya PLE. This one of my first finished low poly models with a 2000 poly limit and a 512x512 texture map.

Hey peeps, I'm trying to set up a brush to tile an image in Zbrush. It's all working just dandy, except for the fact that when I zoom in or out of my model the brush keeps its relative size, making it hard to keep the tiling consistant. Any tips?
So the Metropolitan Museum just released a bunch of their books online for free: http://www.metmuseum.org/research/metpublications/titles-with-full-text-online?searchtype=F&rpp=12&pg=1 Included among them are numerous books on architecture, weapons, interior design, and so on that'd be very useful to game artists.
Hello everyone! Im working on a new next-gen training DVD that is similar to the old pillar but more modular and much more in depth. I even plan to split it into 3 DVDs so I can focus on each part in much more depth. The first part will be the high res modeling and I was wondering that if I decide to use a sculpting app to…
