I'm trying to set up a brush to tile an image in Zbrush. It's all working just dandy, except for the fact that when I zoom in or out of my model the brush keeps its relative size, making it hard to keep the tiling consistant. Any tips?
I don't think that's possible... since ZBrush has it's "canvas" thing, it doesn't recognize the fact that a model can actually scale within that. The brush is always relative to the canvas
I might be wrong, but I've looked through all the options menus and read through the ZBrush Wiki, so unless they're hiding that information somewhere really sneaky, I don't think it can be done.
MoP's right that the feature doesn't exist natively in zbrush. but there was a plugin posted at zbc that would hack it. in a typically clunky fashion. i just had a look and couldn't find it though sorry. so. if you're prepared to go on a hunt over those parts you might dig it up
This post was the first result on google for a similar question I had. This is an old post I understand, but I hate it when people find an answer and don't share. Look at Dynamic draw.
