Deadity, Gordon Robb is right, it's just no UI + resized and placed 3DO window. There is no «option» to hide 3DO UI, just press SPACE and you're good to go! Does your Quixel panel falls behind Photoshop UI? If so you need to install 64 bit Photoshop. Quixel UI will not stay on top with 32 bit version of Photoshop.
Weird. I've always snapped to 32, 64, etc. and not had any issues in ue4. I posted in that thread for a bit more clarification on this.
