quick question: photoshop zoomed in lines between pixels

Hey guys, I have to work in CS4 32 bit now, so some of my 64 bit preferences are messed up.
This is probably supposed to be an awesome feature but i hate it: whenever i zoom in to see pixels really big, thin gray lines come between the pixels.

does anybody know how to turn them off? didn't see anything in the file>preferences menu
