Hello, I am currently trying to place edge loops along a curved object that has been extruded along a CV Curve. For texturing purposes, I want to place an edge loop every 1000 units, and I figured the easiest way would be to measure out 1000 units using the distance tool and line up the edge loops with each 1000 unit…
I'm currently creating a high poly model for a re imagining of the character Samus for university and I'm having some problems with my supporting loops. I want the red line to be a hard edge and the green parts to be smooth. The problem I'm having is that as there is no continuous loop around the 'pod' on the side of the…
For the hood, I'm thinking about a loop on the top of the back, and maybe try to delete a loop on the side. And yes keep the visor of helmet like that, it will surely be more practical to work.
Huh had not noticed shift for loop not working. Double click works for loop and shift click works for ring. Very weird. Select span is more reliable at least.
loop the loop you want to delete and hit control+backspace. Also make sure the check box "preserve UVs" is checked. Also, LOL @ r_fletch_r's comment! hahaha
If this is your low poly, you have tons of unnecessary edge loops running across the visor, the feet, the waist ... if an edge loop doesn't contribute to the silhouette of the model, delete it.
Finally got out of bed, here are the correct images. Tidied up the edges and loops. The wheels still have the symmetry loop and there are a few edges that got cut in in the export.
What's wrong with this? It's probably screwing up because you have useless edge loops there. EDIT: There's a little bit of pinching there, but an extra control loop below it would fix that.
Focus on the core loop. Space combat, Space trading, Space Resouce gathering and the respective missions. That is the essence. That needs to be excellent, not average, and a closed loop that actually works and is engaging.
