I'm having a bit of trouble understanding this. I'm not sure how to make the tiles transparent, and I can't see the entire graph, which makes it hard to understand how everything is connected. Do you happen to have a graph you could share with me? It would really help me see all the nodes involved.
Hi guys, just wondering if I could get a little advice on my hand painted textures for a sci fi scene I am working on. This is the first time I have tried doing this and I just wanted to get some feedback on what you guys think of them as a first attempt and what I could change? And possibly any techniques you guys have…
Hello everyone, I’m modeling a moka pot to demonstrate my understanding of topology on my portfolio, as one of the recruiters I talked to suggested. However, I have this problem where pinching and shading issues occur whenever I turn on sub-division. Also, t’s hard to get sharp edges near where four surfaces meet. My best…
Hey everyone! 👋 I’m excited to share my latest 3D environment – The Infernal Gate. This project was inspired by ancient fortress ruins, combined with lava flows and atmospheric lighting. Is it a common thing or it's working on any number of layers in modern games? Also what people do to overcome certain floaty feeling of it especially when seen at sharp…

You should update your portfolio aswell since you feature work from 2 years ago, the pokeball has very sharp edges for example. Other than that, look around the web to improve your skills! For a prop artist, I suggest looking into environment art and…
I wanted to open a thread that tries to get at the core of the issue of copyright and infringement. Not the moral or ethical issues, but the technical reality of it (i.e. copying and sharing is easy). I also wanted to ask others to share their thoughts on how we can settle this dispute about whom is entitled to what in the…
