Need Help Creating a Black Dragon Model - How Can I Improve?

Hey everyone,

I want to improve my 3D modeling skills and aim to create something similar to the black dragon model below. The model appears to be fully rigged and ready for animation. What software should I learn to achieve this level? Which techniques should I focus on?

I’m currently using Blender, but I’m not sure what steps to take to reach a more professional level. If you have any recommendations for courses, resources, or tutorials that could help me get there, please share them!

I’m open to any advice! Thanks in advance.

Not sure what you expect from this thread.
Blender would likely work, but i would say some specialty solutions for sculpting (zbrush, mudbox) and texturing (substance, marmoset tool bag etc) would be beneficial.

Where are you at? Are you stuck?
Its a lot easier if there is more context than "i have an idea, how do i execute on it?"

    i.e. imgs(attempt/progress) or it didn't happen  :p  :)
You get reference images, a reference guide to "correct" dragon anatomy and start doing skeleton, then muscles, then the skin, then the details? worry bout color later.  Looking forward to it, the last "custom dragon attempt", i made a long while back, no one grooved with cause i tried to make my own version of a "dragon".
