Eh.. no. I just thought it was funny. Plus it humanizes those shield agents somewhat, makes them seem more like characters instead of just mindless robots looking at computers that are just there to fill up background space. Also it was Galaga.
i blame it on the mindless gun selling to everyone. Really in my opinion a community or country that legalizes gun carrying isnt civilized. /awaits "BUT ITS NOT GUNS TEH FAULT BUT TEH GUY THAT IS A NUTJOB LOL!11" true he is a nutjob, but guns + nutjobs....
Would like to see more games accessible to non-gamers that inspire actual thought and creativity, with a passionate strand of beauty woven in beyond the visuals. Surely some cooperative system can be devised that isn't a generative sandbox simulation, or otherwise toothbrushy in any way? Has the human race been dumbed down…
You have just made my day. I've been working on simulations with over 100 separate meshes to import into unity. I always name things in the outliner so this script just saved me 30 mins of mindless exporting. much love.
I should stop reading and posting. Really I wish people wouldn't throw down the gauntlet by calling everyone that believes in God a mindless moron. But you are right its much easier to just roll over and take than it is to actually stick up for yourself.
So the ends justify the means (and a sweet iphone!) People are getting politically involved at a daily basis. Others become activists. But it re-affirms my belief that the people are becoming the mindless masses they don't want the government to believe they are, start thinking critically, don't act on instinct.
Knew a guy in QA who played the same game for an entire year. A month later, he never played on Xbox live again. Basically it's mindless repetition of the same level, area or whatever and you need to look over every inch to find a bug etc.
Even with the Dead Rising style not-so-next-gen graphics and the very marginal improvements over the last offering, I am really enjoying the beta I downloaded on the 360 marketplace last night. Is anyone else going to be picking this one up? For mindless online console fun, it's a winner in my book. Very addictive so far.
It's largely gameplay that sells for me, which is why my consoles are gathering dust and my games library is increasingly filling with indie boxes instead of AAAs. I love a good looking game, but if it's just more mindless wandering through corridors with a gun, I'll usually pass.
Killing People: I'm sure someone mentioned this already but the front piece really reminds me of the flying bugs Samus encounters on Zebes. The ones that rise up out of the holes in twos before trying to hit her like mindless little cruse missiles. If that was your intent then it's an excellent tie in.
