Hello, I used the Metalness disney exporter in DDO and connected the maps to redshift in Maya. Here ist the result. this looks really cool and I quite like the bakes. Quite curious to see how you layed out your uvs. Ist the model broken up different meshes per map or just one big one? Why aren't people commenting on this? Anyway looking forward to seeing the textures.
In an empty scene, there is always a non deletable default layer, that ist invisible in the layer editor (but not in the Outliner). I have the same problem with fbx and max. I think fbx renames the default layer to "effects" Have you tried to remove everything from the layer and rename it to defaultLayer and see what…
I started and completed this gargoyle mesh this morning (6AM to 10AM est), he's wingless because the concept never had any, hence the fast time. I was also learning how to knife and cut edges to gain quick detail. Male nudity ahead, but it's nowhere near as dangerious as last time.
Went with sculpted hair, need to fix the low poly pose and work on materials. The quick rig arms need help, the elbows are particularly bad. Had an entry plug pose/animation planned, but I'm running short on time for my artificial deadline June 21st. I'm pretty sure this is the final pose.
