Hi there, I've been having a problem with a box that I've been skinning. All the flaps seem to work fine besides the last 1. If I try to wipe away any of the weights it moves the mesh about and deforms it. If I try to delete the joint using the delete joint tool it again deforms the mesh.

So Max isnt turbo smoothing correctly and ive check in modo, the geo is correct but max is bugging on me. I tried reseting Xform, exporting and importing flipping faces, im at a loss heres the pictures if any one can help me id appreciated it!

It happens from time to time (Max 2012 is not stable at all), the only solution in my case a fresh install with all the patches after it. Your mileage my vary.
