The Oblivion stuff was mostly done with the photoshop filter according to some Bethsoft folks I met at an IGDA meeting. That particular Gears model was straight up subD, I believe. Not to hijack the thread here, but since this topic exists... Digipens BSGD is something I am interested in, and being a Singaporean in Singapore, I could very well go for the one here. Now whether a degree is worth it or not doesn't concern me as much as what criteria I need as a foreigner to be able to get a job… -

I just work buy habit these days. I am not working in a job right now, buy am working on my stuff from about mid day til about 5 in the morning. Your fan may be dying. That warning may have been based on the fan RPM. If the bearings are going, the fan RPM will drop occassionally (or more). That's probably the sound you heard also (the bearing locking). Fans are cheap, it's worth the insurance ;) -

To be fair that was an occupation. Not really comparable to real slavery, even if the nationalists might well disagree. It's still a moot point, nobody alive today bears any guilt for slavery in the states, and no Turk bears responsibility for the Ottoman empire's actions. -
