I got the answer look for a color node in the channel box construcion history of your mesh and select it go to edit > delete node and your object will take some vibrant color all you have to do now is assing the material again
Depth Alpha basically takes a bias to increase the softness. The heigh the softness the higher softer the transition. A bias of 0 should give you a hard edge. Be aware that theres a Bias field in the properties of the Depth Alpha node as well as the Bias input for the node.
What are skin clusters? I dont believe I ever used anytool called a skin cluster... And can I actually go back before the history nodes by using the history nodes somehow? Ctrl Z only goes so far.
- *starts reading the post* - *nods nods* - Blender engine not common? I suppose, fair enuff. - 'but hopefully I can help prove its worth...' - Yes, it prob... No! nonononono! Hang on min! I had a uni classmate proving blenders worth to me more or less every day for two years straight (bless him) And I don't mind Blender,…
Hello ! Always loving the JuniorSenior avatar :) Along the lines of the suggestions from the Great Eric, and considering that the goal is an actual game asset for UE, then simply start by modeling a first version of the final polygon game asset of the tent at rest. Garment making tools may be useful to an extent since they…
Hello guys, this question might be stupid but it's been bothering me. I recently upgraded to maya 2018, seems like I can't insert texture by clicking the icon on right side of the color channel. it's doesn't respond. I have to connect the node in the node editor for everything. it is pretty annoying. is there anyone have…
ok i have a scene with highpoly and lowpoly. HP has a smooth of 2 , a bit complex but nothing extreme. i just want to clean the unused nodes in hypershade , but it seems everytime i open hypershade or i try to select the HP maya crashes, impossibilitating me of clearing those nodes... halp !
http://www.neilblevins.com/cg_education/blended_box_mapping/blended_box_mapping.htm Wondering if this has been integrated or added to Blender. material nodes in the node editor. From my research, I found this: https://www.blendswap.com/blends/view/78446 Does still need to be downloaded and used? Or Blender has this now?…
Sounds like I might need to rotate the Light Attenuation vector 180 degrees. Apparently there's no node for rotating a vector... https://shaderforge.userecho.com/topics/504-rotating-vectors/ ... but maybe I can use the uv Rotator. http://acegikmo.com/shaderforge/nodes/#rotator
with Maya it's usually either the material or something getting disconnected / bent out of shape in the history and causing the link between a shape node and material to get borked. Sacrificing your first-born (or deleting history every third operation) generally helps to avoid this sort of bullshit.
