I have been working on my roof, and I am considering two approaches to achieve results similar to No Rest for the Wicked. Since the game uses a top-down view, their roof tiles are quite flat because they don’t require much depth. However, this wouldn’t work in my environment, as I want it to work well from multiple angles.…
What is Network? Network is an up-coming free-to-play First Person Shooter game set in its own unique sci-fi world. The game focuses on tight combat, a dense atmosphere, and high quality visuals. The game is multiplayer only, meaning maximum quality of the game in that regard bringing you pure multiplayer brilliance.…
In context of what was brought up in other thread it should be noted: Blender in particular makes the texture look pale when the image Color Space is set to "Non-color", but it will read correctly by the Normal Map node. It can get a little confusing because of that.

Heya, It's a topic I've been thinking about alot and I haven't seen it talked about much here, or maybe I've missed it. I was just wondering how you guys cope with reviewers, or the public, commenting on your art. I've been in this bubble where I only get critique from others in the industry and I take great pride in how I…

The slowdowns I see with that are: a) you need to be constantly aware of your camera position and in which axis you want to move. That always take me a second of thinking, so it loses out of the box.b) with ZXY, I can never hit the right button without looking down at my keyboard.c) actions that don't need to be precise on…
