Yeah, I do plan on rigging and posing him once I've finished but I figured this pose would be the easiest to rig. I don't have much experience rigging/modelling creatures so I'm not certain about this and am totally open to alternate methods.
My Viking's pose was pretty simple, I didn't build a rig for him, I used Zsphere to build a rig in Zbrush to pose the head and fingers. I'm not experienced with Maya rigging so I might have a tough time to learn it, especially skinning.
I was thinking ready to be rigged, but not yet rigged. So I guess an immovable test prop with the potential to be animated later. Because the rig is an entire other factor (that is dependent on the types of animations) so I didn't want to introduce it and muck up peoples answers.
Mass update Lina: CM: AM: Head-rig done note: when I compiled into Dota I set it to "belt" so the hair is still there. Shoulder-rig done Belt-rig with a little cliping Armor-Does not want to work right:poly118: Arms-same as above:poly127:
Hey folks, I put a biped rig on one of my models but the model is accessory heavy. How can i rig my model and add the objects in but keep them from deforming? I have not got farther than rigging my models; I am now onto posing them. Can anyone answer my simple problem?
Hey guys, I've had a look around and I'm pretty sure this is quite possible. But my mesh doesn't follow my rig animation when I change the blendshape influence. I made the blendshape after both rigging and animating. Would this be the issue? I don't see why it would. Here's an image with and without the blendshape, and you…
I hope you give animation a try and you find it rewarding! It's great you're exploring this stuff at such a young age because you will actually have the freedom to do with it what you wish with it and have some good times. If you decide to truly pursue animation and make some money at it, be ready for long hours of work…
Introduction Ridge is a single player level for Crysis and Crysis:Wars (SP). It has been in development for around 8 weeks (in my spare time). This is my second level with the Crysis Sandbox 2 Editor. You can download and play my first level, Utopia. The level is large and takes around 2.5 hours to complete. It has…
Just noticing we now have signature lines showing up on mobile. These used to be culled away. I guess Higher Logic, who writes the software we’re built on, rolled out a fix for a different mobile bug (something with the spam/approval moderation page) Anyhow, tiny potatoes. But nice little taters. Enjoy!
I'm pretty sure that they use one rig for all the characters to make it easy on the animators. I think they have a physics rig and a animation rig so that they can switch the animations around. If not you would have sholders pads, hair, and tit animations trying to be applied to characters with out.
