Cool. The face is too dense so it's holding you back I think. If you much simplify the topology you have there, it will be easier. In the 3/4: that area above the brow is a bit neanderthal. You could push that back a bit I think. Lower lip seems to just out. Front top of head looks a little square. Keep at it. It's…
Hey folks I was curious if there was an established workflow between Maya LT and appleseed? Or if it was at all possible. I'm a bit out of touch on the technical side, but have years of experience with Maya. Getting back into it making a short film and can't really afford Maya's current subscription prices. I've considered…
The title seems to be plain gibberish, but I don't really know how else to describe it :/ Anyhow, I've always had this thing for 4-legged mechas, and being inspired by several RTS-games I wanted to give a try and make my own... In low poly, of course. I had an idea of 4-legged mecha that would be bit of a mix of something…
I'm sure that the reverse has happened as well, as some fifty-odd year old dude pops in a porno, and realizes that his daughter that his daughter does a bit more than just acting in commercials.
Hey Gavin. I'm a fellow Full Sailer here. Nice work on your animation. I myself am pretty much of a noob, but I'll throw in my 50 cents here, if you don't mind. I think your animation is pretty good overall, but it is lacking in a few spots. One thing is the lifting move - while you do have a nice anticipation, I think the…
Your proportions do not match those of either of your references. You're ignoring the fact that in both of those images the subject's arms are out at a much wider angle than yours. Your arms are too short and that's what stands out the most to me right now. Here is the reference to back up these points (it's one you linked…
Hey man, you've got some good stuff in there! As far as feedback goes I think you might want to check your weight on some of the shots. I mainly noticed it in the first two. For example, the throw is great but when the guy lands at 0:05 it feels like it should be heavier. Then on the next shot, the punches and hits feel…
Yeah you could simply flatten the vertex normals, this way killing the lowpoly shading. But its a manual edit that can break. We had projects where this was common practice, killing lowpoly shading as much as possible. Letting the normalmal do all lifting. Has its perks, but doesnt work on every mesh, works better the more…
[ QUOTE ] Vyla: you can actually set multiple viewports in wings3d, but it's not set up as such from the start. Just open a new geometry window (window>new geometry window) and drag to fit. Not the best way for it, but it should do to make wings more pleasant to use for you. [/ QUOTE ] Good to know that! I may venture into…
