I would also check out the portfolio of some of the artist from the major "Handpainted" game companies (e.g. Fanny Vergne (Blizzard) or Tyson Murphey (Blizzard/Riot)). There is also a nice tutorial from Tyson on 3Dmotive about texturing a sword, it helped me a lot.
mr is developed now by nvidia themself and its not dead... it will come back... huge... a lot of R&D was done... if you are interested apply for the betatest.... but in the meanwhile use vray and take a look at redshift... blizzard for example rendered the overwatch cinematics with red...…

Blizzard always has the best April Fools Day pranks; the Terra Tron is fucking awesome! The epitome of Terran engineering, with a mix of Transformers and Gobots. Even the voice script is funny (its Blizzard, would you expect anything less?) The Diablo III Archivist made me grin as well, especially the "Shush" ability.
Kelvin is the newest member of the WoW team here at Blizzard Entertainment. Kelvin was part of Blizzard Entertainment's Summer 2009 internship class.
