Looking for a good book/tutorial about scene lighting.
As the title says, I'm looking to acquire a nook or tutorial about how to lit a scene. I'm interested in color theory, and how to use lighting to control the mood of a particular scene. Any recommendations? -

Japhir.. good to know that the install may be a headache; as for the font, this would be going on a computer hooked up to a projector showing on a 76" widescreen screen, so a small font isn't really an issue. :) If there's anything similar to it that you can recommend, I'm all ears. -

Agreed, it's solid. As for some first impressions I had: The Untold house looks atmospheric and seems mostly realistic, but many edges have very wide bevels and are lighter like you might do for more stylized stuff. Edge wear is real, but usually not as extreme and even as that. The big round arches over some of the doors… -

I really like the shaded version but of coarse it wouldn't work tiling. I think it'd totally benefit from DWalker's suggestion, just offset the image halfway vertically and manipulate the placement of the seams of the planks, avoid having them all along the same vertical line. If a tree falls in the woods... I think its fine to have a private portfolio that you protect, I would never look down on someone who protects parts of their portfolio as long as it isn't a pain in the ass to get into. I also think its a good idea to maintain a public portfolio with whatever you are free to post. -
