Good blockout for games

hey guys...
I want to do blockout in maya for a game concept(the last of us)

But i have problem in good blockout.ithink scale of my blockout is not like concept..How can i do it good?

My block out in maya:

Is good?Where is problem?(white box is my character scale)

In second view:

I think in this view scene is Long!
Maybe concept scale has not good scale?

Is not good workflow for creating blockout from concepts?

My monitor is 4:3,can be problem from this?Should be wide for good aspect ratio?

So my blockout has problem or is good?

Please help me...

    This is a good start. I think you should add more to your blockout to help you solve any problems with the space.

    Adding stairs will help you figure out the length of the staircase.

    Adding doors will help you figure out the width of the doorways. In this concept, the doorways are too wide to work with those doors! If each doorway has two doors, one on each side, and you closed those doors, would they shut each room? I don't think so, this concept is not accurate in 3D.

    One solution is to adjust the 3D to be more accurate, and not match the concept exactly.

    Another thing which would help is to add a 6 foot human model, not a box.

    Also, use real-world scale. Measure the heights of the doorways and the ceilings. A common height for doorways is 6 feet 8 inches. The ceiling looks like about 9 or 10 feet height.
