CONFIRMED BUG: PhotoNormal Presets not working
Just trying to make a very simple wooden crate (watching a tutorial), and tried using the concrete photo-normal preset at first, then I tried all of them. none of them work. It just makes a blank normal map. All flat. I used Active Doc, then tried File. Nothing is creating the normal map from the psd file. What gives? -

Photoshop bug: FG / BG colors switch
I'm using ps7. Sometimes the background vs. foreground colors switch identities. Picking a color sends it to the background swatch, while the color values sliders (RGB / HSB / etc.) reflect the background color as well. Any downsides to Paint Shop Pro 10?
Just got the demo and ordered the full version. I must say, for less than $100 it's got most of the functionality of Photoshop at a small fraction of the cost. Plus you can customize your keyboard! It sounds like it's not the same problem that the OP has. I haven't got PS in front of me but if I remember correctly, it happens when trying to do a different task before a previous action has totally finished (ie applying transformation). It's a loud 'ping' sound that I've had on XP+Vista/CS3+CS4. -
