Niiiizzzzza, hope you are doing well, these last studies are killer, there is a lot of style and research in your studies, especially facial features are so efficient and defined considering the low amount of polys. thanks so much for sharing these.
not a stupid idea i believe it could be the next big thing that might replace polygons for many tasks - not just for modelling. being able to define a volume should help greatly with character setup, for example. polygons are such a hack.
Wow, I had seen this movie listed at IMDB ages ago, but never really looked into it because there really was no info on it at that time. This looks like it's going to be a really good one. Definently has that Tim Burton flare to it.
i know hehe, my latest post had that oh, and bahamut is one of my favorite dragons, so the influance is definately there (also, hes the only bipedal dragon i can actually think of for reference too).

I would suggest adding more lines and detail to the blueprints to define the shapes better. I also liked the designs i nthe perspective views much better were the character is more slim. Go for that isntead.
well there you have it, your normals are locked in, its not smoothing groups defining the shading. i'd suggest to reset normals and set up the smoothinggroups again. dependent on your needs it should just be 3 clicks in a script such as textools.
So the first images of the suicide squad are out. Im in love with what Harley Quinn looks like in this, its a cool take on the New 52 suicide squad look. The whole squad has a interesting visual too it, Their are definately pros and cons but What do you guys think?
I've read several issues, but I realized after today's that I hadn't seen any post about it on polycount. Free, well written, with industy insiders writing, I definately recomend subscribing via email to recieve the updates. http://www.escapistmagazine.com
i haven't tried this for a couple of years but checking for black used to be a bit risky - in that a missing input wasn't necessarily black. you'd want to be sure that you're constraining the range before doing a conditional check i think . if the parameter is definitely being set correctly, it could be that the order they…
